Will my home work without internet?
Selected local controls and automations can be designed to operate without internet. Cloud-only devices, remote access and some integrations depend on connectivity. Your proposal should make these differences clear.
Are there ongoing subscription costs?
Core local control can be designed without a mandatory monthly platform subscription. Optional remote, voice, cloud or third-party services may have separate costs, depending on the system selected.
